I think there’s a difference between a simple comment and bullying. It also depends on the state of mind the person u commented on is already in. If someone commented on my weight, I wouldn’t go home, have a panic attack, and cry, depending on the way they said it, I’d just be like “yeah i know” and forget about it. I too used to be overweight, and it sort of helped me grow a thicker skin.

Even though body shaming is bad it’s still important to tell someone the truth if they are doing harm to their body like eating too much or barely exercising
